Getting Started

Knowledge Development

The best part is that this is all about Diving, students in the Advanced Open Water course have very little classroom time and no written exams.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about diving. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives.

Mandatory Training Dives

Going Deeper & Finding Your Way

Deep Adventure Dive: During your open water course you were trained to safely dive to no deeper than 18 meters (60 ft), now you will learn the knowledge and skills to to dive deeper to 30 meters (100ft). Many shipwrecks and reefs lie deeper than the Open Water limits, this is your chance to now go deeper and visit these special places.

Navigation Adventure Dive: This fun dive teaches you the basics of underwater navigation and how you and your Dive buddy can safely navigate your way underwater from one point to another. There is also a real element of progressing your safety skills in this dive as you may not always have an Instructor or Divemaster to follow around the reefs.

  • Wreck Dive
  • Underwater Photography
  • Fish Identification
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy

These are just some of our favorites from the available list of Adventure Dives, but don’t worry you don’t need to choose them all now, in fact we recommend you keep an open mind and discuss with your Instructor once you are here on the Island with us which dives will suit you best.
